Such a neat effect with this pattern!  It uses five fabrics – a dark and medium of one color and a dark and medium of a second color, then one light background.  Using the “V” Block and Tucker Trimmer rulers, you will make 2 types of blocks with color placement creating a secondary design.  These rulers make more than one size block, as will be seen in class, for the different size quilts.  NO templates, NO paper piecing as commonly used when making these 8-Pointed star blocks.  This pattern has 3 size options.  Everyone makes the same number of blocks; just different finished sized.

Our Open House Newsletter

Well, hello there!  We hope you all enjoyed the weekend as much as we did.  At one point, I seriously considered setting up my sewing machine and table under the tree in my backyard.  I didn't think my hubby would appreciate my enjoying myself in the shade as he slaved out there mowing and weeding.
Ahhhh well, maybe one day.
Where's the craziest place YOU'VE sewn??
This week is a big week for us at the shop--we have our open house.  Lots of things going on, so you won't want to miss a beat.
We hope to see you all there!
